A man has been charged with burglary and theft of a car after a break-in at a house in Crich.
Jacob Jones was arrested in connection with the burglary of a house near Cromford Road which occurred on 16 November and saw a number of possessions and a car stolen.
The car was recovered in Derby shortly after the incident.
Three men and a teenaged boy, all from Derby, were arrested in connection with the incident, with two of the men – one in his 50s and another in his 20s, along with the teenager, have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
The third man, Jacob Jones, has been charged with burglary and theft of motor vehicle in connection with the incident and appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on 13 December where he was remanded to prison.
He will next appear at Derby Crown Court on 10 January 2024.
