An appeal has been launched after a man was assaulted in Derby city centre.
Officers were called to a report of an assault in Albert Street just before 8.45pm on Sunday 6 November 2022.
The victim was waiting at a bus stop when he was punched and kicked by the offender. It left the man, aged in his 60s, with a broken jaw, bloody nose and other facial cuts and bruises.
Detectives investigating the incident are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened, especially if you have CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
Since the incident occurred, a number of lines of enquiry have been followed and the CCTV images have only recently been made available to police.
