Appeal for help identifying two witnesses after assault in Swadlincote

We are appealing for two men who witnessed an assault in Swadlincote to come forward.

We were called to a report of a fight involving two women just before 6.15pm on Thursday 8 June in Goseley Avenue, Hartshorne.

The two men got out of a parked car close to the scene with one of the men wearing a red t-shirt and the other wearing a grey t-shirt and a baseball cap.

We are keen to speak to these two men as they may have important information which could help with our investigation.

Two women, in their 20s, have been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.
