A man has been charged with six offences after reports of a man being seen in a Derby street with a weapon.
We were called to reports that a man had allegedly been seen with a gun and had attempted to rob two men in the area around Chambers Street, Alvaston, just before 1pm yesterday (Wednesday 14 August).
A man was arrested at scene and an imitation firearm was seized by firearms officers.
Today (Thursday 15 August) Aiden Thomason was charged with the following six offences:
The 32-year-old, of Elton Road, Derby, was remanded in police custody and will appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Friday 16 August).
