Two men have been charged with possession of imitation firearms after an incident in Derby.
We were called to reports of two men being seen with what appeared to be a firearm in Bracknell Drive just after 1.45pm on Wednesday (18 December).
Armed officers attended the scene, and two men were quickly located and arrested – with an imitation firearm being found nearby.
Yesterday (19 December) Reece Wilson, 23, of Crayford Road, Derby, and Jake Faulkner, 26, of Stubble Road, Derby, were both charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and remanded to appear at court.
They appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court yesterday afternoon where they were both remanded to prison and will appear at court at date yet to be set.
