Nine people have been charged in connection with the theft of almost 70 motorbikes in Derby.
Officers have been investigating the theft of 69 motorbikes over the course of 2023.
Five men and four teenage boys aged 14, 15 and two aged 17, have now been charged in connection with the thefts.
Brandon Curtain, 19, of St Mary’s Road, Rotherham; Ryan Dawson, 29, of Lower Dale Road, Derby; Kye Freeman, 18, of Bingham Street, Derby; Preston Stone, 18, of Monmouth Street, Derby; Alex Teck, 18, of Harvey Road, Derby, and four teenagers, who can’t be named for legal reasons, have all been charged with conspire to steal a motor vehicle.
They have all been released on bail and are due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on 14 October.
