Roads closed in Barrow upon Trent this evening

A number of roads remain closed in Barrow upon Trent this evening.

Officers were called to Sinfin Lane just after 12.40pm to concerns for a man, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by East Midlands Ambulance Service.

An investigation is ongoing, and officers remain in the area.

Barrow Lane is closed at the junction of Lowes Lane, Swarkestone Road is closed at the junction of Twyford Road and Sinfin Lane is closed at the junction of Deep Dale Lane.

Twyford Road and Brookfield are also both closed.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area at this time and to find alternative routes.
