Two people have been questioned by officers after suspected drugs were found at a property in Chesterfield.
A search warrant was carried out on Walgrove Road on Thursday 21 May by officers from the Chesterfield Safer Neighbourhood policing team, and North Tactical Crime Team.
Suspected Cannabis and mobile phones have been seized, and two men, aged 19 and 18, from the Chesterfield area, were questioned on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Darran Clarke said: “We worked alongside the North Tactical Crime Team to carry out this warrant following community concerns. Our team continues to target illegal drug activity and work to keep our communities safe despite the current challenges we face.
“The support of and help of the local community is vital to this work and I would encourage people to let us know about any suspicious or unusual activity in their area so that we can target criminal or anti-social behaviour.”
Unusual activity could include people coming and going from an address and at odd times of the day and night, strange smells, windows covered up or curtains closed and cars pulling up near to a house for a short period of time.
