Officers from our City Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team are holding a ‘Street Meet’ for residents this evening (Monday, 29 July).
The meeting, being held on the Little City car park, Forester Street, Derby, will be for all those living and working in the Green Lane/Abbey Street area and will include representatives from Derby City Council.
The event is being held to listen to any concerns residents may have about policing issues and to tell them about work that has been carried out in tackling drug and alcohol related anti-social behaviour in the area.
PCSO supervisor Matt Thurman, said: “The team have been working hard in the area to tackle complaints of anti-social behaviour, however we understand that sometimes this work goes unseen.
“Tonight’s street meet is to let the community know what we have been doing and to also listen to any concerns that residents still have.”
The team will be on the car park between 6pm and 8pm.
