Officers from our Normanton and Rosehill Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting residents and business owners to a ‘Street Meet’ in the area next week.
The event is happening between 6pm and 8pm on Monday, July 1 on the Morleston Street Car Park.
Sergeant Tony Owen, who is in charge of the team, said: “We know we are having reports of drink and drug related anti-social behaviour in the area. Whilst the team and our partners are working hard to address this issue we are keen to hear from those affected so we can make sure we are doing as much as possible.
“The event is open, will be held on the car park and there is an invite to anyone who is affected by the issue or would like to talk to us about any other policing issue in the area.”
