One of our officers from the Littleover Safer Neighbourhood Team has issued an image of a woman he would like to speak to about alleged racial abuse.
The incident has been reported by a Derby taxi driver and happened at around 2am on the morning of Saturday, June 15.
The woman was picked up from the Morledge in Derby and was dropped off on Constable Lane in Littleover but was last seen walking on to Bretton Avenue.
The incident is being investigated by PC Steve Phillips, who explained: “I am aware that the photo does not show the face of the woman but I am hoping that someone recognises her from her long blonde hair and what appears to be a red coloured top.
“The taxi driver has reported particularly nasty racist abuse from this woman and we would like to talk to her about this allegation.”
