Officers from our Mickleover Safer Neighbourhood Team have joined forces with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service (DFRS) to offer the residents of Mickleover the chance join them for a ‘Cuppa’.
The event is being held later this week on Thursday, May 16 at The Old School Tea Rooms.
Officers from both services will be available to offer safety and crime prevention advice as well as discussing any other concerns residents may have.
PCSO Tracy Bell, from the team, said: “We have been holding a series of such events across Mickleover during the year but on this occasion I thought it would be good to invite along our colleagues from DFRS.
“Whilst we are out on patrol we try and speak to as many people as possible, however this event allows us to be in a set place at a set time so people can come along and have a chat.”
The team will be at the tea rooms between 10am and 12midday.
