Officers from our Hilton Safer Neighbourhood Team have found a cannabis grow during a drug search at a house in the South Derbyshire village.
Acting on community intelligence officers attended the address in Burntheath Lane yesterday, Wednesday, May 29 and found 73 plants in two rooms at different stages of growth.
A 61-year-old man who lives at the address is to be interviewed by the team.
PCSO Jamie Gutberlet said: “We will always take action when we receive such information from the community. We know that this type of activity can lead to other crimes and anti-social behaviour and disruptive to the local neighbourhood.”
