Our Safer Neighbourhood team in Alvaston and Boulton has a new Sergeant in charge.
Lauren Siddall joined the team, based at Cotton Lane Police Station, last Tuesday, 29 October.
Lauren started with Derbyshire police as a Special Constable in the Safer Neighbourhood team at Chapel-en-le-Frith.
In 2012 she joined the regulars and since then has spent time in uniformed roles and CID in the north of the county before moving on to work as a Detective in the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
Now promoted to Sergeant, she joins Sergeant Graham Young at Cotton Lane covering Alvaston and Boulton with Graham continuing his role covering Chellaston, Sinfin and Osmaston. (They are both pictured here at Cotton lane Police Station).
Lauren says about her appointment: “Community policing is at the heart of everything we do and my priority is to continue the good work the team has done within the community and with our partner agencies to make the area a safe place to live, visit and work.
“I am committed to providing the very best service I can and to ensuring my team does the same. I am looking forward to getting to know the community and to the challenge the role will bring.”
