The Allestree Safer Neighbourhood Team are asking residents of the Derby suburb to join them for a ‘Cuppa with a Copper’.
The event is being held tomorrow, Thursday 24 October at the Orangery Cafe, Markeaton Park Craft Village.
PCSO Ibrar Raffique, from the team, explains: “These events have proved popular with residents as they offer an opportunity to come and meet the local policing team in a more informal setting.
“We are available to give out crime prevention advice, talk about local issues or anything in particular that may be of concern.
“Allestree is a safe and pleasant place to live but that does not mean it is without any issues and this is a chance for residents to talk to the local policing team about how we can address these.”
The team will be at the cafe between 10am and 12 midday.
If you are not able to make this time or date but would still like to speak to the team they can be contacted using any of the non-emergency methods:
You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Please note in the event of an emergency you should always call 999.
