Sock it to the Scammers

#SockItToTheScammers is our new fraud campaign, created to raise awareness of commonly reported fraud in Derbyshire and how to stop them.

The key message is Stop! Think Fraud. If you suspect a scam, or something just doesn't feel right, take a moment to consider before doing anything else. 

Tell someone you trust and discuss your concerns if you're still not sure. If you think you've been the victim of a scam report it.

Our aim is to get the videos in front of as many people as we can, in the hope that not only will they be alerted to the tactics of fraudsters, but that they will also share the crime prevention tips and advice with family, friends and neighbours who might not be online.
