An Accelerated Hearing in respect of the above-named officer is to be held at the Derbyshire Police, Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, Ripley, Derbyshire, commencing at 09:15 hours on Tuesday 07 July 2026 and is currently scheduled to last for one day.
The officer will answer an allegation that his conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for:

Following a trial at Leicester Crown Court, he was convicted of one count of misconduct in a public office.
The Chair of the hearing - Chief Constable David Sandall (Leicestershire Police), has determined that the hearing will be held in public. However, it may be necessary for certain aspects of the hearing to be heard in private or that the identity of certain individuals in the case may require anonymisation to protect their identity.
