2025 List of Dismissals - Police Officers/Police staff and Former Police Officers/Police Staff

The officer answered allegations that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for Discreditable Conduct, in that the officer sent and received inappropriate images to/from a member of the public on more than one occasion.

 These allegations are contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.

The staff member answered allegations that their conduct breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of ‘Discreditable Conduct’ in that they tested positive for a controlled substance.

Staff Member Gross Misconduct Hearing – chaired by Senior Police Officer

The former officer answered an allegation that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for ‘Discreditable Conduct’ and ‘Confidentiality’, in that the officer received a criminal conviction in respect of obtaining personal data for non-policing purposes.

This allegation is contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.

The former officer answered an allegation that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for ‘Discreditable Conduct’, ‘Duties and Responsibilities’ and ‘Orders and Instructions’ in that, on two separate occasions, he drove a marked police vehicle in an unauthorised and inconsiderate manner.

These allegations are contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.

Gross Misconduct Hearing chaired by Senior Police Officer (ACC) – held in public

The former officer answered an allegation that his conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for ‘Discreditable Conduct’ in that, he received a criminal conviction in respect of Criminal Damage to property.

These allegations are contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.

The former officer answered an allegation that his conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for ‘Discreditable Conduct’ in that, he received a criminal conviction in respect of Common Assault and wilful ill-treatment of a child.

These allegations are contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.

The former officer answered allegations that his conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for ‘Discreditable Conduct’, ‘Equality and Diversity ‘and ‘Authority, Respect and Courtesy’ in that, on two separate occasions, the former officer used inappropriate language which was considered to be discriminatory and/or racially offensive, when referring to members of the public.

Would have been dismissed had the officer remained serving.

The officer answered allegations that her conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for ‘Discreditable Conduct’, ‘Confidentiality’, ‘Honesty and Integrity’, ‘Orders and Instructions’; in that the officer accessed confidential information using Force systems for which she had no policing purpose and/or any lawful authority. Furthermore, the officer provided misleading information when asked to account for her accessing the above information.

 These allegations are contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.

The former officer answered allegations that his conduct amounted to a breach of the standards of professional behaviour for ‘Discreditable Conduct’, ‘Confidentiality’, and ‘Orders and Instructions’, in that the officer accessed confidential information using Force systems for which he had no policing purpose and/or any lawful authority.

These allegations are contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.

The Former Officer answered allegations that his conduct amounted to a breach of the standards of professional for ‘Discreditable Conduct ‘and ‘Confidentiality’, in that the former officer received a criminal conviction having unlawfully accessed confidential information using Force systems.

These allegations are contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.

Accelerated Hearing chaired by Chief Constable – held in public

The Officer answered allegations that her conduct breached the standards of professional behaviour in respect of ‘Honesty and Integrity’, ‘Discreditable Conduct’, ’Duties and Responsibilities’ and ‘Orders and Instructions’ in that, the officer failed to diligently investigate a report of domestic abuse and provided misleading information to a supervisor. In a separate incident, the officer failed to diligently carry out a stop/search of a member of the public and subsequently provided misleading information following this stop/search.

These allegations are contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.

Gross Misconduct Hearing chaired by Senior Police Officer (ACC) – held in public

The Former Officer answered allegations that his conduct breached the standards of professional behaviour in respect of ‘Discreditable Conduct’, ‘Authority, Respect, and Courtesy’ and ‘Equality and Diversity’ in that, the officer displayed inappropriate behaviour towards female colleagues which failed to maintain a professional boundary and/ or had the potential to cause them to feel harassed by reason of their sex.

These allegations are contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.
