The former officer answered allegations, that (whilst serving as an officer) their conduct breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour of ‘Discreditable Conduct’, ‘Duties and Responsibilities’ and ‘Fitness for Duty’, in that; the officer drove a motor vehicle whilst over the prescribed limit for alcohol and was consequently convicted at court. Furthermore, that the officer reported for duty whilst unfit to do so, due to their consumption of alcohol.
