Officers investigating a fatal collision on the Pentagon Island in Derby are appealing for help to trace the drivers of a number of vehicles seen in the area.
Grant Sturgess, 31, died after being struck by a vehicle near to the entrance to Derbyshire County Cricket Club at around 8pm on Sunday 12 November.
We know that a number of vehicles passed by Mr Sturgess in the road in the minutes before the collision, including the two pictured here.
We appreciate the images are not the best quality but it is hoped that those motorists who were in the area at the time will come forward.
Officers are now keen to speak to the drivers of these vehicles as witnesses who may have vital information that could help with our enquiries.
A man has been charged with causing death by careless driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, failing to report a collision and causing death while driving unlicenced.
Fation Koldashi (30) of Dorset Street, Derby appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 18 November. The case has been adjourned to Derby Crown Court in April.
