Did you know, there are a few simple steps you can take to protect your stuff from burglars?
Making sure windows are locked, keeping valuables out of sight and investing in a decent lock for your shed – these are all quick and easy ways to put an opportunistic criminal off.
And according to Michael Fraser – former burglar and now top security expert – the best way to beat a burglar is to think like one.
We teamed up with Michael to help equip people with the knowledge of what a burglar looks out for, and the lengths they might go to to get a quick payday.
So we popped a GoPro on Michael’s forehead and challenged him to have a look around a property that we *thought* was quite secure, to show where simple oversights might be spotted by a criminal.
In this short video, Michael, who has fronted several security-focused TV shows such as the BBC’s Beat the Burglar and To Catch a Thief, shares tips and tricks for keeping your property as secure as possible.
