A thief has admitted targeting numerous homes and vehicles over the course of a couple of days in Allestree.
David King pleaded guilty to 14 separate offences relating to a series of crimes committed in the Derby suburb between Tuesday 14 April and Wednesday 15 April.
He tried to break into numerous homes and vehicles, managing to steal money and a metal Yankee Candle air freshener.
King also committed fraud by dishonestly using someone else’s bank card to make a purchase at ASDA in Duffield Road on Tuesday 14 April.
He was arrested after officers reviewed CCTV footage of his crimes and identified him as a suspect.
The 35-year-old, of no fixed abode, was charged with:-
*Six counts of theft from a motor vehicle
*Four counts of attempted burglary
*Two counts of vehicle interference
*One count of attempted theft from a motor vehicle
*One count of fraud.
He admitted all charges during an appearance at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Friday 17 April.
King was remanded into custody and is due to appear before Derby Crown Court for sentence on Friday 8 May.
