Two men have been charged after a man was robbed in Long Eaton.
The incident happened when a man aged in his 20s had his bag containing mobile phone, power pack and vape stolen whilst on Tamworth Road at about 10pm on Saturday 30 May.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Acquisitive Crime Team (NACT) and the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) worked together to investigate the incident.
Two men have now been charged with robbery.
They are Matthew Gavin (38) of Orchard Street, and Gareth Moyes (47) of Regent Street, both from Long Eaton.
They both appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 2 June and were remanded into custody.
They are next due to appear at Derby Crown Court on Tuesday 30 June.
