Amber Valley is made up of the Local Policing Team and six Safer Neighbourhood Teams, covering thirteen beat areas.
Each Safer Neighbourhood Team is made up of Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers who are ideally placed to be in the heart of their communities daily, engaging with communities, building public confidence, offering reassurance, and working tirelessly to make our communities safer.
Each town and village within Amber Valley differ and each area have different policing problems. We work closely with our partner agencies to deal with the issues that impact our communities, working to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour within our communities and build trust and confidence.
