    1. To tackle anti-social behaviour and theft from the Allenton and Alvaston shopping parades, identifying prolific offenders and dealing with them robustly
    2. To address offences associated with anti-social behaviour involving nuisance off road bikes around Alvaston park, open green public spaces and the Canal Path
    3. To tackle anti-social behaviour in and around the Coleman Street and Harvey Road area

    Action taken:

    1. We will conduct regular high-visibility and plain clothes patrols in known hotspot areas. Social media posts regarding target hardening at local businesses. Regular pop-up Community Engagement events “Street meets” highlighting crime prevention information and opportunities. Target those involved in criminality by disrupting their activity, investigating crime, bringing offenders to justice and working with partners for longer term changes within the area. Use intelligence led policing to target and enforce on those individuals causing most harm to our community in this area. Work closely with local businesses within the area to build and maintain long lasting relationships. Work with our Community Safety Partnership (CSP) to utilise civil powers such Community Protection Warnings and Notices, Criminal Behaviour Orders and Anti-social Behaviour Injunctions against those committing repeated offences and instances of ASB.
    2. We will conduct regular high visibility and plain clothes patrols in known hotspot areas. Take proactive enforcement action against offences such as speeding and Anti-social riding Build intelligence to identify those involved. Work closely with our Off-Road bike team whilst taking positive action using our section 59 powers and section 165 powers. Promote road safety awareness through school visits youth engagement sessions Utilise Traffic Operations with specialist police resources from our Roads Policing Unit to target and educate around road safety.
    3. Continue to work closely with our partners as part of our joint problem management approach, focusing on both prevention and enforcement of crimes involving anti-social behaviour, We will conduct high-visibility and plain clothes patrols in hotspot areas, to deter offenders, develop intelligence and provide community reassurance. We will also focus on stop search powers where appropriate. Work alongside businesses in the community to promote target hardening and reporting of offences and ASB. Conduct pop-up engagement events and SNT ‘street-meets’ outside shops to provide crime prevention advice and an opportunity for members of the community to speak with the team and voice any concerns. Work with our Community Safety Partnership team by attending meetings and sharing information with our partners on those individuals responsible for committing ASB within our Communities looking for a longer term and joined up approached to management of individuals or problem locations. This includes ongoing collaboration with key stakeholders such as the local council and Environmental Health, who share, responsibility for maintaining safety and wellbeing in the area.
