•High visibility patrols in hot spot locations. Regularly review intelligence to identify hot spot locations and potential suspects. Privately owned e-scooters are illegal if ridden on the road or in public spaces, such as parks, street pavements, and shopping centres etc Privately-owned e-scooters that are used in public spaces or on the highway will be seized under S.165 Road Traffic Act 1988 for having no insurance. It is not possible to obtain insurance for privately owned e-scooters.
•High visibility patrols to be conducted, review of intelligence and crime trends to plan patrols and enforce. Crime prevention advice to be issued through events and via social media and Derbyshire Alert whilst using these channels to keep the community updated.
•In order to combat anti-social behaviour in the community we will work with partner agencies in order to issue where appropriate Community Protection Warnings / Notices and Criminal Behaviour Orders. Gathering of community intelligence through high visibility patrols and regular engagement.
