1) Road safety: Conduct high visibility patrols in known hotspot areas. Continue working with Community Speed Watch where appropriate. Work closely with the community to gather information, feedback and provide updates. Take proactive enforcement action and collaborate with Roads Policing/specialist units where necessary.
2) Serious acquisitive crime: Continue high visibility and plain clothes patrols in hotspot areas. Share crime prevention advice through social media, community events and Derbyshire Alert, raising awareness of current issues. Promote security measures such as tool marking, steering locks and CCTV. Work with partners including local authorities, bordering police forces and national policing teams to share intelligence and prevent offending.
