I am honoured to be the Inspector for North East Derbyshire and Bolsover currently. I have come into this role with over 15 years of front-line policing experience across two force areas.
I have a long-term affinity with the area having previously been a constable and sergeant here and have built an understanding of the various communities across the area. Prior to coming back here as Inspector I have been a leader in the force around neighbourhood policing, innovation, problem-oriented policing and partnership work.
My neighbourhood teams have clear direction around what is expected from them in relation to engagement and enforcement from quarterly review of neighbourhood priorities. These priorities are chosen through various engagement activities including https://www.derbyshirealert.co.uk/. If you would like to complete a Derbyshire Talking survey at this site to assist us, it would be greatly appreciated.
Clear standards and expectations are set for my team, so you can have confidence that I hold my team to account in delivering the Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee.
When I am not at work, I enjoy walks around the Peak District with my family and dog.
