Your Safer Neighbourhood team (SNT) is a group of local police officers, Police Community Support Officers and Specials dedicated to serving your community.
We are proud to work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on preventing and reducing crime, protecting the vulnerable and providing reassurance across Derbyshire.
Youth ASB is a concern in the community especially in a few key locations. (Lea Vally – Behind Civic Centre), Glen Vale Dronfield Woodhouse and Pentland Road Shops (separate PMP)

Road Safety Issues Inc speeding/parking and nuisance - community have informed us via talking with the community checked, Derbyshire talking surveys that road safety remains a concern within a community checked 10/12/2022.

Regular schedules meetings agree being help with DCC Highways, councils and Dronfield SNT looking at short term and long-term choices to considered. Speed watch and speeds checks continue to be completed by SNT and community groups in hotspot locations.
• Residential Burglaries has been raised by an issue raised 10/12/2022 by Police generated data and calls for service and the voice of the community by obtaining speaking with the public, PCC and through Derbyshire talking surveys

Dronfield SNT continue to complete victim of burglaries reassurance visits around crime prevention and generating information for public about crime prevention target hardening messages via several methods. Some of which include direct visits, crime prevention information shared via Derbyshire Alert or social media or via Neighbourhood watch groups and community groups.
