Your Safer Neighbourhood team (SNT) is a group of local police officers, Police Community Support Officers and Specials dedicated to serving your community.
We are proud to work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on preventing and reducing crime, protecting the vulnerable and providing reassurance across Derbyshire.

1. High visibility patrols to take take place, work alongside our off-road bike team and utilise our drone capabilities to identify those involved. Positive action to be taken against riders located, issue section 59 warnings or seizing the motorbikes under 165 and taking suitable action against the rider.
2. High visibility patrols to take place outside the school at the required time, advising drivers, educating drivers and taking appropriate enforcement action where necessary.
3. Regular speed checks to be completed by police at these locations, work alongside our Community Speed Watch Group to support them to complete speed checks in these locations and work alongside our colleagues in CREST to advise drivers and taken enforcement action against drivers where necessary.
