I have 19 years’ service with Derbyshire Constabulary, where I have spent all my time working in the Amber Valley area as a PCSO and now as a PCSO Supervisor.
PCSOs are embedded in our communities, offering visibility and reassurance, building trust and confidence, understanding the local issues that affect our communities, and working tirelessly to problem-solve and resolve the issues that have a detrimental impact on people living in, working in, and visiting our communities.
It’s important to put the community at the heart of everything we do, engaging with residents, listening to their concerns and worries, problem-solving, and robustly addressing anti-social behaviour and crime in order to make Amber Valley a safer place to live and work.
