Nuisance Bikes
Action taken:
Nuisance motorbikes have become a key concern across the area. Officers will be increasing both high visibility and plain clothes patrols, using Section 59 powers to issue warnings and seize bikes where lawful. The team will work with the Off Road Bike Unit, review CCTV and community footage, engage with young riders on safety, and hold problem solving meetings with partners. Intelligence on offenders and storage locations will continue to be developed.
