Issued 01 July 2026
1) For Drug Use/Distribution we will: Conduct proactive patrols within the community, making appropriate use of powers such as stop and search to prevent and detect drug offences. Work with support charities where necessary to address drug use. Engage with the community to gather information and target activity in the right areas. Take positive action when offences are detected.
2) For Theft of and From Vehicles we will: Continue high visibility and plain clothes patrols in hotspot areas. Share crime prevention advice through social media, community events and Derbyshire Alert. Promote security measures such as tool marking, steering locks and CCTV. Work with partners including local authorities, bordering police forces and national policing teams.
3) For Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) we will: Conduct high visibility patrols. Work with the Youth Engagement Team to prevent offending and tackle ASB at source. Work with partners to address ASB. Engage with young people through school engagements, raising awareness of anti social behaviour. Gather feedback from and work with the local community.
