2. Acquisitive crime prevention In Abbey- Theft of/ from vehicles and burglaries.
3. Rykneld Park and Stockbrook Park drug taking, dispersals of ASB subjects and abandoned cars.

1: Shop theft from many of the stores on Kingsway is often reported and actioned by the Police. Engaging with partner agencies we will seek ways of improving prevention of shop theft including: Liaising with store managers and business crime reduction teams in regards to the placement of high value items, increased high visibility foot patrols, plain clothes operations and an increase in physical and social media around arrests and sentencing of thieves
2: Increased high visibility foot patrols by the safer neighbourhood team for reassurance and to detect any offending patterns. Social media posts highlighting advice around burglary and keeping items safe was issued.
3: Proactive patrols conducted at those locations, dispersing anyone engaging in ASB and identifying repeat perpetrators to issue CPNW’s.
