A joint approach under the Councillor on Patrol scheme is currently in place, officers along with councillors visit those address who have indicated they require contact.
Local Neighbourhood Forums are in the process of being implemented allowing for a wider audience in support of partner agencies.
Social media is also used to communicate and highlight issues within the community
Work within schools on the area to highlight issues around Knife Crime and VAWG (Violence against Women & Girls).
Visible presence within the community and strong support with partner agencies (council) in dealing with issues highlighted.
Attendance at events both planned and invited.
Continued use of twitter to engage with community and promote partnership working.
Regular School intervention, visits and presentations to look to educate students on dangers of knife crime and VAWG
Continued presence at schools, supporting council initiatives around school parking, Knife Crime and VAWG.
Continued work with Fire service highlighting the dangerous and risks of derelict buildings.
Actioning any drug related intelligence within the community.
Regular attendance to the “Our Abbey” community hub at Bramblebrook community centre
