Your Safer Neighbourhood team (SNT) is a group of local police officers, Police Community Support Officers and Specials dedicated to serving your community.
We are proud to work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on preventing and reducing crime, protecting the vulnerable and providing reassurance across Derbyshire.

Officers regularly attend local events and attend any councillor meetings that may take place. They also carry out high visibility patrols in the community. Officers also work alongside the community and businesses to encourage anti-social behaviour to be reported, including information around specific locations and descriptions of offenders. Officers work alongside partner agencies in order to take positive action against any sort of antisocial behaviour and nuisance motorbikes
Maintain a high visibility presence within the local community in key hotspot locations. Continue supporting and engaging with local partners and business, key stakeholders in order to tackle community raised issues. Engage with younger members of the community, including hard to reach groups in order to build trust and confidence within the police. Continue to attend invited events and also arrange events within the community to understand concerns within the community.
School events and community events attended, including local religious festivals, village fates and festivals. Regular meetings with partner agencies, Council, Fire Service and Business leaders.
