I joined the Police in 2001 and my first posting was at Peartree Police Station as a PC. Since then, I have returned to Derby West Section as a DC, SNT Sgt and now LPU Inspector.
I have worked at South Division for much of my career so far, both in uniform and as a Detective.
I am very happy to be back at Derby West, I am familiar with the area and have always enjoyed working here. I am very much looking forward to working with the Team, Partners and the Community to make Derby West a safe place to live, work and visit.
1. ASB Vicarage Park
2. Nuisance Motorbikes
3. Theft of Number plates / Catalytic Convertors
Issued 22 March 2023
1. High visibility patrols and engagement with the community via Derbyshire talking and a community meeting to ensure open communication on the Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) occurring on the Park. A Problem Management Plan (PMP) has been created in order to provide a structured response to community concerns and will allow for Police intervention using appropriate Police powers to resolve the increase in ASB in this area. The Police response will incorporate partner agencies and invested stakeholders in order to keep the community updated and work towards a long term resolution.
2. High Visibility Patrols and intelligence collection to deter and usage and bring those found committing offences to justice. Reports will be encouraged via Derbyshire alert, Talking surveys and community engagement and analysis of these results will allow for a targeted response. Where possible we will engage Roads Traffic Policing who have motor cross bike capability.
3. A mixture of plain clothes Patrols in hot spot locations and targeted community engagement to raise awareness of the issue and offer crime prevention advice. We will engage with local organisations that may have seen their employee carparks targeted to work together to prevent reoccurrence.
