Deploy Safer Neighbourhood Officers to conduct regular patrols in and around the quarry area to deter illegal off-road biking.
Targeted Enforcement: Work with Roads Policing Teams and specialist units to identify and take enforcement action against offenders using disused land unlawfully.
Community Engagement: Liaise with local residents and landowners to gather intelligence and address concerns. Promote reporting to Appropriate Agency Derbyshire Dales District Council Environmental Health and Derbyshire Constabulary’s online reporting tools.
Partnership Working: Collaborate with local councils, landowners, and partner agencies to explore preventative measures (e.g., barriers, signage).
Intelligence-Led Approach: Monitor reports and review crime trends to identify peak times and repeat offenders.
Share updates with the community to maintain transparency and reassurance.
