Your Safer Neighbourhood Team
Your Safer Neighbourhood team (SNT) is a group of local police officers, Police Community Support Officers and Specials dedicated to serving your community.
We are proud to work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on preventing and reducing crime, protecting the vulnerable and providing reassurance across Derbyshire.

1. Criminality and ASB associated with the supply of controlled drugs including the impact of County Lines. 2. Residential Burglary including preventative activities and target hardening.
3. Anti-social Behaviour in public places including the Town Centre, including anti-social street drinking and youth related ASBAction taken:
1. Various methods undertaken to drive down drug supply and prosecute those involved. Provide assistance to victims of county lines activity.
2. Follow up visits to all residential burglary victims. Identification of suspects and prosecution of the same. High Visibility patrols in identified areas when deemed appropriate.
3. High visibility patrols to deter activity. Work with partner agencies and the community to identify offenders, prosecute where appropriate and deter from continued behaviour. Enforcement of the current Public Space Protection Order when required.
