1 – Road Safety/Speeding Vehicles/Parking Road safety remains a key concern locally, particularly in relation to speeding vehicles, unsafe parking, and vehicle obstructions.
• Conduct high-visibility patrols and speed awareness operations at identified locations.
• Work in partnership with local parking enforcement to address areas of concern and improve compliance.
2 – Drug use and drug dealing Residents have raised concerns regarding drug use and suspected drug dealing within the community.
• Gather and develop intelligence relating to individuals involved in drug-related activity.
• Carry out proactive work to disrupt drug use and dealing, while working with partner agencies to offer support and diversion opportunities where appropriate.
3 – Residential burglary Although there has not been a recent increase in reports, burglary remains a concern for local residents.
• The Safer Neighbourhood Team will host regular home security events, offering advice on how to protect properties.
• Conduct targeted evening patrols in areas that are more frequently affected, with the aim of deterring and identifying offenders.
