Your Safer Neighbourhood Team
Your Safer Neighbourhood team (SNT) is a group of local police officers, Police Community Support Officers and Specials dedicated to serving your community.
We are proud to work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on preventing and reducing crime, protecting the vulnerable and providing reassurance across Derbyshire.

Cross-border related crime, namely dwelling burglaries and theft of motor vehicles.
Action taken:
• This includes the involvement of specialist units working with SNT and ANPR monitoring.
• High visibility burglary patrols, offering reassurance to the community and a deterrent to prospective criminals active in the area due to an increase in reported theft related crimes.
• Crime prevention advice and leaflet drop for the hotspot areas where acquisitive crime is prevalent. Street meets will be the main source of engagement.
