1. -We will analyse Police data to identify local hot spots for drug related ASB/Crime to assist in directing hi-visibility and plain-clothes patrols. -We will build effective relationships with those who have a problematic relationship with substances and use this to ensure an accurate understanding of the issues they are facing. -With this information, we will make referrals to partner agencies to enable them to access support. -We will also robustly enforce against and manage individuals responsible for serial criminality related to drug use and supply within communities. -For first-time offenders, rehabilitative options in response to criminality will be offered, wherever possible. 2. -Officers will deploy to key locations on each beat for enforceable speed checks. -Members of the team will support Community Speed Watch in their deployments when able and complete follow up visits to offending motorists in line with scheme guidance. -We will encourage and facilitate residents to develop new community led Speedwatch Schemes. -We will effectively target vehicles used for criminality and bringing offenders to justice. We will work with roads policing unit and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue to target the ‘Fatal4’ through education and enforcement. The Fatal4 are speeding, drink and drug driving, driving whilst distracted and non-wearing of seat belts. -We will work with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue to educate drivers around the ‘Fatal4’. -We will deliver road safety inputs to local children through school visits and engagement events.
3. -We will analyse data to identify any patterns or prevalent areas to assist in directing patrols. -We will work with our partners to ensure all dogs are microchipped and these records are up to date -We will promote responsible ownership through community engagement and our social media channels. -We will work in conjunction with our dog legislation officer and partner agencies to tackle any offences related to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. -We will utilise Erewash Borough Councils PSPO in relation to dogs within Public Spaces where proportionate and necessary.
