School Parking Outside St Andrew’s: Hadfield Safer Neighbourhood Team will monitor parking issues outside St Andrew’s School, with a particular focus on school drop-off and collection times. We want to encourage considerate and responsible parking to help keep children, parents, staff and other road users safe. We will engage with the school and local residents to raise awareness of the concerns and support efforts to reduce dangerous or obstructive parking. Illegal Surron’s: We will continue to focus on the use of illegal surron’s and other electric bikes within Hadfield, Padfield & Tintwistle. Our aim is to address the use of vehicles that do not meet legal requirements, particularly where they are being ridden dangerously, causing nuisance or being used in areas where they are not permitted. We will work with residents and partner agencies to identify concerns, provide advice and take appropriate action where offences are identified.
Burglary: With the winter months approaching, we will be focusing on burglary prevention across the area. We will work to raise awareness of simple steps residents can take to protect their homes, sheds and vehicles, including ensuring doors and windows are secure and keeping valuables out of sight. Through regular patrols, community engagement and sharing crime prevention advice, we aim to help residents feel reassured and better prepared to protect their property. We encourage residents to report any suspicious activity and work with us to keep our communities safe.
