1.Theft remains a high priority especially due to the effects it has on its victims and its community. We would ask the community to be extra vigilant and to report any suspicious activity at the time the incident occurs on either 999 or 101.Extra patrols have been conducted and property and bike marking has taken place.
2. Parking Concerns have been raised recently about the parking in and around all our local schools and in certain residential areas We as a team are looking at educating motorists and will be patrolling in the areas at the relevant times. We would encourage anyone who is wanting to report illegal parking to the councils Civil Parking Enforcement Team who are responsible for most parking offences like double yellow lines. You can do this by calling Call Derbyshire on 01629533190.
3.we have started to do enforcement with the assistance from the forces Road Safety Team (CREST).Residents have already set up Community Speed watch schemes which are running well and would encourage anyone who is interested in setting up a scheme in their area to email the Speed watch Team
