Your Safer Neighbourhood Team
Bolsover District is a local government district in Derbyshire, England. It is named after the town of Bolsover, which is near the geographic centre of the district, but the council is based in the large village of Clowne to the north. The district also includes the town of Shirebrook and several villages and surrounding rural areas.
The neighbouring districts are Amber Valley, North East Derbyshire, Chesterfield, Rotherham, Bassetlaw, Mansfield, and Ashfield.
The District is predominately an ex mining community, which has attracted large amounts of Investment and house building. There is also a large rural community within the area. The SNT continue to work with local Parish Councils, Community and Faith Groups, utilising Derbyshire Alert and Farmwatch to maintain contact with these people.
The Safer Neighbourhood Teams, conduct high visibility patrols and liaise with the wider Community via Community Catchups , Street Meets, Parish Council Meetings and Derbyshire Alert to help set our Priorities so that we can deal with issues raised by the whole Community.

1. We will carry out high visibility patrols of the area to identify possible targets and deter offenders. Crime prevention advice to be given at Community Events and catchups. Utilise Police systems to identify and deal with possible Offenders.
2. Tackle the nuisance and anti-social use of off-road motorcycles and quad bikes by conducting targeted enforcement using Section 59 powers, disrupting identified offenders through intelligence-led policing, and working with partners to prevent access to hotspot locations and engage the community.
