1. Speeding in Barlborough area
Issued 17 March 2023
1. SNT will be working with Traffic Officers and Crest to try to combat some of the speeding as well as High Visibility patrols by SNT and the local Council Enforcement Officers. We will look at arranging an Action Day to speak with drivers who's vehicles are identified as causing an issue offering words of advice and take positive action for incorrect number plates, modifications, body work, tyres etc. Letters of Road Traffic act issued to the perpetrators. A Community Speedwatch group is trying to be brought together so they can be trained up and then they are able to go out with the Speed Gun in hot spot areas to try to deter speeding. Local Parish Council have been approached to see if they would look into purchasing any ANPR cameras for the local area which would also help with speeding vehicles.
